Echendu Ndubuisi Anthony Humphrey, popularly known as Engr Echendu, is a Nigerian engineer, entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist. He was born on October 28, 1985 in Port Harcourt, Rivers, southern Nigeria. Engr Echendu is the seventh son of the prolific army general retired, Chief Echendu Christopher.

He comes from Obio / Akpor, LGA Rivers state, Nigeria, and is part of a well-founded Christian family, which consists of ten children. Engr. Echendu grew up partly in Rivers State and East London, where he had a very solid basic education.

He is Chairman of Echendu Sky Holdings, Echendu Oil and Gas Ltd., ESHworld Ltd. and founder of the Echendu Ndubuisi Foundation. Engr. Echendu has a national award, he is the youngest CEO and member of the Catholic Order.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of London in the UK. He loved the engineering degree because of the influence and background of his father, but decided to be a professional advocate for the course, which took him to the prestigious University of London, UK, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 2007 and a degree in engineering Leadership in the advanced management program of the IBMI.

Engr. Echendu has 9 siblings, one of whom is Chief Dennis Echendu, CEO of Chiefdenso Global Ltd.

Engr Echendu is a Nigerian / British entrepreneur and investor. He has a controlling interest in Echendu Sky Holdings, a listed UK conglomerate with interests in hospitality, travel and tourism, oil & gas, real estate and water cargo handling.

He came into the limelight in 2011 when he persuaded his godfather to invest in Africa, an Irish billionaire, especially in Ghana, where they invested in housing and cash. Within a few years, he turned it into a profitable business, and in 2015 he joined a construction company with another billionaire Masri, president of Mas El Masri Ltd., a construction contract with African Tigers, which brought him tremendous profits.

Its oil and gas company and Echendu Sky Holdings now have subsidiaries in two African countries and in the United States and the United Kingdom respectively. Echendu owns extensive real estate throughout Ghana. Its net assets are estimated at about 18.5 million US dollars.

Engr. Echendu began working as an accountant at Cumberland Hotel in 2008. Later in 2009, he founded his own company Echendu Oil and Gas Limited, one of the world’s leading premium oil services companies. Although Echendu’s father was well established, he continued to create new jobs to earn a living, even though he worked in many other industries: travel and tourism, water cargo handling, mega-shops, logistics, transportation and real estate.

Recently, its oil and gas company in the UK has expanded its industries to include other oil refining, water handling and other engineering services. He is about to open his office all over Africa.
